it must be a pretty kickass weekend if i'm this giddy at 5:30am after having worked on a paper for the last five hours. many stories, but for now just a highlight from friday night's helenes spring party. most importantly, i got compliments all night on my hair (thanks lindy) and my outfit and accessories (thanks janelle). also, the pictures are already online, and if we use them to sum up my night, this is what we get:

my desktop is j.s. giguere. how is it possible to be so beautiful and so rad at the same time? despite all the bad press after yesterday (thank you, steve thomas, for taking the blame off jiggy's shoulders and talking about defensive problems - what a team... also, thank you coach babcock for using the phrase "got our lunch handed to us") i still believe. we'll see tomorrow at 7:30... QUACK.

and a random post that never made it last night...

as i was walking down the hall in my dorm just now i passed two freshmen residents, a girl and a boy, and caught part of their conversation. the girl seemed to be giving advice to the boy, who was obviously just her friend, and it went something like this:

"...so just call and say you're tired, and you want to stay in tonight instead. and if staying in turns into getting head, well, all the better."

who are these girls? did i raise them to be like this? i didn't know whether to be intimidated or disgusted. or nostalgic.
