does anyone else ever pretend they are living in a movie? like yesterday, i was feeling really lovely in my romantic pink dress, and i was walking through this pretty part of campus - it is sort of sunken, with vines and plants all around - when i caught sight of a male form out of the corner of my eye, walking parallel to me. but he passed behind a pillar as i turned to see who he was. in that split-second before he reappeared, i created this elaborate scene in my head in which this gorgeous boy would emerge from behind that pillar, and he would smile at me, and we would know without words that we were destined to be in love for the rest of our lives, frolicing across europe a la before sunrise. i waited to catch the first glance of my soulmate, holding my breath as he came into view --

and it was the fat, balding sparkletts man.

fate is a cruel, cruel bitch.
