i know this isn't much of an update but i just wanted to say 'happy halfway day'! as that is exactly what it is today, halfway day. in less than eight weeks now i will be home safely in the land of the free. so that is something to look forward to.

this next week is going to be very quiet for me so the blogging should be kicked into high gear. one hopes, anyway. until then...

i am very much losing this spot the swede game. disgraceful.

i don't really have time to type today as i am in the throes of midterms here, but i just wanted to say for the record:

in the classic film newsies, david is indisputably better than jack. anyone foolish enough to say otherwise should be forced to spend a weekend at a winter camp with cynical cigarette-smoking junior high horrors.
