okay, have to keep practicing if i ever want to be a real blogger when i grow up, right? this has to be short because i am going to bed.

we saw 'serendipity' tonight and it was adorable. as my good friend brian said, "doesn't that movie make you want to bump into someon SO badly?" he is very right. i feel like running around in the snowy streets of l.a. right now until i find HIM.

when i was younger i had a few recurring dreams where i was searching for someone. i remember asking people in the dream about him, and thinking, but i don't know what he looks like, and then realizing that i would recognize him anyway. a couple of times i finally spotted him from behind - once in a crowd and once alone, on some bluff - and then i woke up. so maybe fate is trying to tell me something.

speaking of fate, as we were in my car on the way home from the movie, i discovered that my friends ben and lindy, who have themselves been friends since high school, have an interesting family coincidence happening. apparently their parents have the same names, and each has a little brother named tim. i told her that must mean fate was trying to tell her something.

kill ben's family and adopt him as her own.
