you know, it's funny. when i had a boyfriend for almost two years, i thought being single would be a lot easier and more fun than this is. it's hard! i hoped it'd be this really simple situation: cute girl likes heartbeat-stopping, smile-causes-swooning boy; girl just ended long wonderful relationship; girl is leaving country in three months... have you ever seen before sunrise? well, that's kind of what i'm getting at. that kind of sweet for-today stuff. unfortunately, i've yet to have any brand new sweet sexy romantic guys pop in. the ones i see every day are more like those idiots at phi delt who sit on the couch on the porch and yell rude things as i skate by on the way to class. but a girl can hope, can't she?

in other news i finally went out swing dancing for the first time in many moons. i should do more things were men have to act so gentlemanly. i really don't get offered anyone's arm enough in the real world.

i'm glad this is still a secret blog. i want to practice this writing bit some more.

here i go. a good friend told me that his writing has improved because of blogging, and i admire his work. and I want to try something new. thus begins first star. it's a secret blog right now anyway, because nobody knows of its existence.
